If you have questions, I have answers.

What is the process like for booking a shoot?

Everything in my business is done digitally, both to save you money on taxes and to ensure that I don’t need to charge them. Once you select a package below, you will be taken to a form specific to that session which will start the process of getting you scheduled. You will receive follow up information via email as well as an invoice for paying your initial deposit and the relevant forms to signs. After everything has been executed and your deposit is received, you can expect an email before your session with “know before you go” information as well as tips and tricks to make sure we capture the best images possible.

Do you require a deposit to book a session?

Yes, I require a deposit to secure your session date and time. The deposit amount will depend on the specifics of your shoot and will be expressly conveyed prior to booking.

What happens if I need to reschedule my shoot?

I understand that things come up, and I’m happy to work with you to reschedule your shoot if needed. Although the deposit is non-refundable, please contact me as soon as possible if you need to reschedule and we’ll work together to find a new date and time.

What should I wear to my photo shoot?

This will depend on the type of shoot and the look you’re going for. I recommend choosing outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident, and that reflect your personal style. I’m happy to provide additional guidance on what to wear for your specific shoot, and some of that information is contained within the “know before you go” email that I will send ahead of your session date.

How long will it take to receive my images?

This will depend on the specifics of your shoot and the amount of post-processing required. I typically aim to deliver your images within 1-2 weeks of your shoot date, but this can vary depending on the project. Timelines and expectations for your particular shoot will be clearly laid out in the documentation that you will receive as a part of your booking process.

How will I receive my images after the shoot?

I will create an online photo gallery where you can view, select, and download your images directly from the comfort of your own home.

Here’s how the process works:

  1. Accessing the Gallery: I will send you a link to the online photo gallery via email or text. Simply click on the link to access the gallery, where you’ll be able to view all of the images from your session.

  2. Viewing the Images: You’ll be able to browse through all of the images in your gallery, which will be organized into separate folders if applicable. You can click on each individual image to view it in more detail, and you can easily navigate between the different images in your gallery.

  3. Selecting Favorites: When you find images that you love, you can add them to a “favorites” folder to keep track of them. This will help you narrow down your final selection and make it easier for me to deliver the final professionally edited images.

  4. Finalizing Your Selection: Once you’ve made your final selections, you can let me know which images you would like to receive, and I will prepare your final images for delivery.

  5. Receiving Your Images: Your final images will be available for download directly from the online gallery, and you will be able to download them in high resolution to your computer or other devices. You can also choose to purchase prints or physical products directly from the gallery.

What is the difference between "images" and "professionally edited images?"

When you purchase services from a photographer, you are paying not just for the images but also the time required to make adjustments to those photos. The example image shows the difference between what is taken out of the camera and adjusted for basic lighting and exposure as “images” and what the final “professionally edited” images look like with additional enhancements. These enhancements could be bringing out the color in a sunset or reducing blemishes and smoothing skin for portraits as examples.

Can I share my images on social media?

Absolutely! I encourage you to share your images with your friends and family on social media. However, I do ask that you give me credit as the photographer when sharing your images.
